                                 OVER 250 READERS YESTERDAY

YOU ALL NEED TO PLAN ON ATTENDING BOARD MEETING THIS THURSDAY,8/3

Enough complaining here ...MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD AT MEETING THIS WEEK...

I am urging all full time residents to take an hour out of your schedule and attend this meeting to show your dismay with recent and future choices and how a vote should be done

The Board should have had a meeting in the evening to reach more residents and explain the issue rather than leave us guessing ??

The emails are flooding us here with discontent over this latest mistake by Board,On Cable Tv agreement with out a community vote

Here is a 3 interesting letters from a  resident

Obviously the TV situation is a real mess now, especially with the conflict between the HOA Board claiming a contract with Dish will be non-exclusive, yet Dish supposedly will lock people in for 3 years.  What other choices do we have for TV service?
What is the real story?

More importantly, the internet connections were also supplied through Media West – what happens with those?  Will there also be an interruption for the internet.  Dish of course does not provide internet itself, it bundles with a communication service provider.

Any idea what and how the internet will be a part of this primarily TV issue?

Until this time Media West was responsible for the distribution of TV and Internet signals, the main equipment located at Building 9 and the per building distribution equipment located behind the elevator machine room of each building.  Media West bundled TV (Dish) and Internet (CenturyLink).  Under the new scenario and In case of service problems, who is the focal point of contact, or will there be one for TV and one for Internet?

It is very disheartening when the Board members have little to no understanding of the main and peripheral issues associated with providing and maintaining the quality of TV and Internet services.

In the past there was a mention that COX was interest to become a service provider.  Why not now?  COX has everything, TV, Internet and Phone, all coming through on cable/fiber – one company for all services if desired.  And they do provide high speed internet, REAL HIGH SPEED!

So why do we not hear about any consideration to let COX onto the premises?
