EVEN BACK THEN WE WERE PUSHING FOR BIDS ON COMPANIES

Talked with My Father  after receiving article yesterday about No Bids here,. H e is the head of Family Trust  who for 40 years was the director of purchasing for one of the largest Municipalities in Illinios.....Yes very qualified  to speak on the importance of bids


When discussed, He said he never heard of anything like this ..NO BIDS ??   And with the amount spent here a year on Vendors ?? This needs to be addressed


Many Many residents have been asking the same questions ??


At so many Board meetings we used to hear them say..Wayne get the bids..Well this whole time there were NO BIDS ?? Boards Fault not Wayne's


 This is a issue and others of importance to be discussed at upcoming series of private meetings of Full time Residents This Summer /Fall Season

Numbers for Thought


I do believe that we should have a committee to look into bids  for services here at Anasazi, Always seems 

like the AAM Connected companies get all the contracts, maybe not always in our best interest ??

Look at what we pay for just Cleaning company..to sweep hallways and mop elevator and wipe railings ?/ The numbers speak loud and clear

BEFORE AAM CLEANING CONTRACT

2011 ----  Cleaning / Janitorial Contract------ $35,970 YR = $2997.50 a month + Janitorial supplies  $360.00

AFTER AAM CLEANING TOOK OVER

  2012 ----  Cleaning / Janitorial Contract-----$71,940 YR  = $5995.00 a month +Janitorial supplies $3600.00


2013 ---- Cleaning / Janitorial Contract----   $82,740 YR  =  $6895.00 a month +Janitorial supplies $1500.00

2014 ----   Cleaning / Janitorial Contract-----  83,808 YR  + $6984.00 a Month+Janitorial supplies $2000.00

All information taken from our own budgets..Dont have to be an accountant to read between the lines..Our Board over the last 3 years accepted this..reason why remaining  prior board members must go after their term expires this year...THEY ALLOWED THIS  !!!

EVEN BACK THEN WE HAD PROOF THAT A EMPLOYEE OF AAM'S FAMILY OWNED THE CLEANING COMPANY..BUT OLD BOARD SWEPT IT UNDER RUG...

WILL THE NEW BOARD DUE IT DILIGENCE OR DO WE HAVE TO RESEARCH 

This is not a post about Our office staff who is doing a great job, but that some of the vendors here are way overboard on charges ..Hence Bids should be explored and also those numbers shared at Board meetings with all residents
