Legal Definition of a Arizona Resident

Received an email asking what is considered a Legal Resident in AZ.

 Here is law and definition.

APPLICABLE LAW: Arizona Revised Statutes (A.R.S.) § 43-102

. A.R.S. § 43-104 defines the terms "resident" and "nonresident" for income tax purposes. The term "resident" includes:

 (b) Every individual domiciled in Arizona who is outside Arizona for a temporary or transitory purpose. Any individual who is a resident of Arizona continues to be a resident even though temporarily absent from Arizona.

(c) Every individual who spends, in the aggregate, more than nine months of the taxable year within Arizona is presumed to be a resident.

The term "nonresident" means every individual other than a resident.

WASTE MANAGEMENT PHOENIX OPEN

January 26, 2015 — February 01, 2015

Annually sporting the largest crowds on the PGA TOUR, the Waste Management Phoenix Open has gained legendary status for being unlike any other golf tournament. Not only is it one of the fifth oldest events on the PGA TOUR schedule, it also features one of the most unique holes on TOUR – the famous 16th. The 16th hole at TPC Scottsdale is normally a routine 162-yard, par-3, but come tournament week the hole is completely transformed into a stadium with enough room for 15,000 screaming fans. It’s a great opportunity for players and fans to interact.

Combine that with 132 of the top golfers on the PGA TOUR including Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler, Phil Mickelson and Brandt Snedeker to name a few and it’s easy to see why this event has grown to where it is today.
And, when the sun sets at TPC Scottsdale the party heats up at the Coors Light Birds Nest.

The Birds Nest features new artists every year. While the music each night may be different, one thing still remains the same – The Coors Light Birds Nest is THE PLACE TO BE in Scottsdale during the Waste Management Phoenix Open!

Because you are a full time  resident and knowledgeable in all that makes this community work as well as what is needed to keep it at its optimum,

you would have our write in vote.

I was on our board for 15 years and know that it requires a true  love of community to give your time and devotion to.

You seem to demonstrate that .

Well hallelujah. You definitely have my write in vote as president. You are the only one that is a go-getter that actually gets things done!  The other members are best as they are now.
I'm also doing a write in for Dana (new life) what we need.

Where I Stand

After being stopped by many residents and having lunch with some other residents this weekend, I was asked Where I stand on a few issues that concern all here, I thought I would explain that here for any other residents that may have the same questions

On Anasazi turning to private management ?

I DO NOT agree that Anasazi should go to Private management, A community of this size needs to have a management company to handle the very many tasks that need to be done here daily, and believe that Wayne has done a great job here in the last year to restore the luster back to Anasazi, I believe Management should stay in place and just build a great board to direct it

On Anasazi changing to private security ?

I believe the dollars we spend having actual police here on the property outweighs any argument of bringing in private security. We have seen on too many incidents here that having Phoenix Police on grounds has proved to be very beneficial, along with the facts that our current security team has come to know the residents and also who should not be here..This is too important of a combination to lose

On Board going to 7 members ?

This was something that I believe was put in place when there was some discussion in the community of having more people on board to basically spread the power out, But this year with a limited amount of people running for board, it may appear this may be discussed,

But do believe Board members should be elected if spaces are open and not just appointed by Board, this has not always turned out well here.I remain open on this as my concern is in the quality of the board and not as much the quantity. But do believe that it should be attempted as it was some thing the residents asked for and this  is something all board members need to remeber, you are in place to act as the voice of the residents

On Removing Wayne as Manager

NO,  Now lets be honest if I was asked this 5 years ago I might have had a different opinion, But after Wayne was allowed to do what we needed here at a time with 20 chiefs and no Indians to speak, He has taken this property and really brought it back to looking beautiful after it had become a bit shabby there for a bit. I have also spent much time talking with Wayne over the last 10 months and have come to know a good guy who has showed us that he does have  a great concern for our home and investments, along with Sharon who is always sweet as pie, our office has become approachable again

Thank You .................Michael Sansone

Michael Sansone for Board ?/

Well after being stopped by many  many residents and receiving many emails urging me to run again for board and challenge any reasons I should not ??    We dont have anyone that wants to be on Board and the couple of us who should be on are pushing for a Write In...

Maybe a WRITE IN for MICHAEL SANSONE ??

I have received much support

How does a community or board not look at a highly qualified candidate that is willing to volunteer be kept off board

I LOOK TO YOUR EMAILS AND COMMENTS BEFORE FINAL DECISION IS REACHED THIS WEEKEND

Time to eliminate all the past power struggles on our board here

MOVING FORWARD HERE SHOULD BE THE MOST IMPORTANT DECISION

STREET EATS FOOD TRUCK FESTIVAL

February 07, 2015 — February 08, 2015

Calling all foodies! The Street Eats Food Truck Festival showcases at Salt River Fields again this year! Come and experience rows of delicious food trucks, celebrity chefs, live music and more!
Once inside the festival, you can purchase tokens worth $2 each. These will be used in lieu of cash at the bars. Use tokens, cash, or credit cards at the food trucks.

Trucks themselves will sell food at prices of their choosing, however, they’re aware that you just shelled out 12 bucks to get in, so they try to keep prices low.

They also try to server a “sample” option so you can try as many trucks as possible. If you’re looking for a full meal, most trucks will also offer heftier options.
