Marta You Voted No !!

Great to see that the one board member that was pushed through during election has voted against something a majority of residents asked for  ?????

Time to get on Board with the rest of the residents here Marta...You seem to be acting like the old board we worked so hard to remove....maybe if you walked the grounds or were out at night you might have been made aware of the problems here at night with pools.

Maybe follow Faye who has stood tall here in her new role and was instrumental in many of the new projects completed here

Maybe a early push to remove you from board if you continue to work against the majority of residents...Many have brought this subject of as of late in conversations......you were voted in by winter residents  about 50 votes out of 600 ??..maybe why you vote against full time problems

CMON MARTA WAKE UP, YOU AND RUSS ARE CONSIDERED PRODUCTS OF THE OLD BOARD AND HAVE VERY LIMITED SUPPORT HERE IN THE FULL TIME COMMUNITY

We all know Russ has bought a house in Scottsdale and will be another non resident board member shortly..

The Speed Bumps and Pool Locking are all centered around a safer community..
Yet you 2 voted NO

Minutes from  May meeting below
*******************
Locking of Pool Gates Due to the increase in criminal behavior reported after hours at the pools there is a need for an employee to unlock the gates on Saturdays and Sundays.

Dana Jones made a motion to accept the request to have a maintenance employee on site on Saturday and Sundays for 2 hours each day to unlock the pool gates and handle other miscellaneous items.

Ray Durney seconded the motion.

The motion carried 5-1-0, Marta Vega opposed.

She voted no against pool being locked and Russ Harris voted no to speed bumps...........their logic???  UNKNOWN

Issues of Safety in Community ??  Should be supported by All Board Members

Paver Project

As many of you know, Anasazi started a pavers project a few years ago. Graveled walkways were to be replaced by brick pavers. Common walkways were to be completed by the HOA and the cost of walkways in front of buildings were to be shared by the building owners and the HOA.

To this point, 12 of the 15 buildings have been completed. In the Fall we will try to complete the project. We will need volunteers to canvass the remaining three buildings. An email will be sent out in the Fall asking for people to volunteer and additional information will be sent to the owners of the buildings involved

Reader Complaint??

Last weekend after posting a very nice Passover and Easter post on Saturday,

Anasazi Talk put up a bit of humor posting the below picture...... but it offended 1 person who left us this comment..I thought I would Share, Just in case you wonder the variety of emails and calls I receive on a weekly basis....Yep !!! I Know

Anonymous has left a new comment on your post "As Stated":

As a Christian resident of this community, I am applied that this would be posted in a forum that is supposed to be used to better our living environment. This is as bigoted as demeaning someone because of their race.

Any person that practices religion would find this offensive, as you are supposed to love one another and not be cruel. I'm quite sure atheists would feel the same...

Discussion of Cars Left behind

Many residents have been talking this week about the upcoming asphalt project here at Anasazi, One of the things many residents feel strongly about is that the HOA is considering absorbing the cost for the cars that need to be towed during asphalt project here.

Many residents believe if a winter visitor or other resident does not make plans to move vehicle.

THEY SHOULD BE CHARGED THE TOWING FEE PERIOD !!!   $$$$

Why should other owners incur the cost for a few who do not care or make arrangements to have their vehicle moved...We will be sending a letter to board to push for this action and it will also be brought up at next board meeting..Bottom line is all need to cooperate during this project for it to be successful
