The Anasazi Project !!

Well I received a draft from a  private meeting of residents last week and here is what they are proposing! They have asked me to publish to start a conversation about this change !!

For the record this website or moderators had no input in this, it was delivered as is...We were not part of the drafting of this plan...We were asked to publish to establish a conversation about this subject.

ANASAZI PROJECT:

We are beginning to lay out a plan

We need a name first.  So, it could be called the Anasazi Project, or Bring Back Anasazi or ??????

The first thing is to bring back a staff who really care about Anasazi.

Private Management for our community   ???

Wayne Yurk would have to be out. Mariann come back.

Bring staff in who care.  Get ride of the contract crap.  Frannie comes back and we build back a Building Services staff.

Bring Dan back.  No one knows Anasazi maintenance like he does.  Build back a maintenance staff who knows there stuff, is accountable and cares.

All parties have been contacted and would be interested also.

Get rid of the "fluff" in the office.  Since when does that office need two people?

Have regular information sessions with the residents.  These need to be open and honest meetings. Many of their concerns could and should be solved before Board meetings.

Go thru the monthly financial statements line by line and find out what is really going on       ... (Mariann was an accountant in real life)

The key of successful community management is hospitality.  It is obvious that concept  is missing in the operation at Anasazi.  The entire operations team should be greeting each owner when they see them on the property; be willing and able to respond to their questions with honest answers; take pride in their work.  Until that mentality returns, the community will struggle.

Nobody is perfect and no idea is without its fault.  I'm sure some people would stutter if they even heard that the old staff was returning.  But, we can't please everyone and we have to start somewhere.

Signed a concerned group of residents

ANOTHER RESIDENT AT MEETING SENT  THIS:

If you look at the big picture, the problem might not be AAM...But it is Wayne and how he manages the property and the owners.  He obviously has no concept of the hospitality business...and that should always be what drives property management.

AAM works for you, the owners.   You do not work for them.  We should be able to hire the landscaper, buildings staff, vendors that we want.  That also goes for the manager.

If we can proceed with "the project", the Board would have to be behind the plan 100%.  We can't please all of the owners, but if the plan is in the best interest of the property and the owners, the end result should be a win-win for everyone.
