Winter Party Question

Hello Michael, I am sending this to you after reading the Anasazi Newsletter that no one can seem to get to their email, Well I went online to read it for myself. After talking with some other residents here in Build 4 &12 today, many have expressed concerns over this schedule of activities here at Anasazi for the fall

What has many aggravated is, Where is the summer activities for residents ?? and who is paying for these winter events ??

Also see they have a catered party scheduled ?? WITH OUR HOA Fee's ??

I would like you to print this email for all other full time residents to read and understand what may be happening...

Are we supposed to plan activities for those winter visitors who come here for 3 months and expect to have a full line of entertainment scheduled for them ??

Also heard they want live music, But need permission from all residents  I personally do not see this happening...Hoping this being on your website, may open a few  eyes around here at what is happening

Time to let these winter visitors pay for their own fun and enough of their parties. only they are invited to, It should be for all residents or none...Thank You Mrs P

I have been trying to get emails here from Anasazi and newsletter for 11 years and still receive none !!....Marta   (Communications director ??)   Have offered my services many times for websites and getting emails correct here...but we have Marta..Who knows nothing about communication except writing a newsletter with info from this blog and AAM web sight and then talks endlessly about it at meetings like its the Az Republic..We don't need a 20 minute speech on the news letter  lol !!

NOW TO THE ISSUE AT HAND

I have read this also and do think we should have activities year round..we always used to have a 4th of July BBQ  That was always a great turnout..But when AAM Took over the petty cash used for that day was taken away much to the dismay of many

As far as HOA Money being used I believe that these winter events will be payed for privately or on a pay per person for any catering from past discussions here, This has been discussed when the 1st talk of a "Social Committee" was introduced

But will check into this for all of you concerned...

But personally I believe it is a good idea to have activities, It may be a way of uniting the full times residents with the winter residents for a little more solidarity here ??  If it is done evenly and not a committee run by 90 day visitors  with no concern for the other 9 months here..OR Parties that are invite only  planned by committees on our board...its either for everyone to attend or none

Last week we received over 70 emails...please allow a few days to get caught up on them  Thanks for reading
