And Yet Another Record



For the second day in a row, the Phoenix area experienced record-breaking heat, with Saturday's temperature at Sky Harbor International Airport reaching 115 degrees, breaking the record of 112 set in 1992.
The Phoenix area broke another record Saturday with the recorded low of 93 being higher than the previous record of 90 degrees set in 2011— and it doesn't stop there.
Sunday is expected to break its record of 113, with an expected high of 114.
Heavy use of air-conditioners across the state Saturday pushed demand for electricity to a record for the year for Arizona Public Service Co.
