We have done our job.........Now its up to you all to continue
It is over 6 years since we started this website here at Anasazi, At that time we were in a stale period here with no vision for the future.
This website did what it was intended to do...Light a fire under the residents butts to get more involved in the community and update the outdated board that reigned here too long
Well It worked and to some's chagrin it did its job and slowly removed and made changes here with more and more residents getting involved. Now there were many supporters of the website and a few that did not like.
Some liked the subject matter but not how at times it was a bit rough or judgmental..But it provoked suggestions and conflict which was a sign we still had fight in us
We just had to be the ones that lit your fuse whether you supported us or not ..
You all knew and talked about the blog...
Some of you were even closet readers ?/ lol
The point of the website was never intended to be all negatives but during some of those years we had to fight to be the voice here when it was much needed. And there was not a lot of positive happening then.
But overall this website was the catalyst that started the change here at Anasazi, so maybe all methods were not always the best... BUT the end result seems to have worked out.
I was the pioneer who put his neck out where others had been afraid to do so from retaliation. Some of that retaliation came back and bit some in there butts.
What is great is we are at the point were there are enough residents involved and all have the same concern and that is to push Anasazi into the future.So this website can become the information site it was intended for with updates regularly on things going on at Anasazi
Wayne seems to have a grasp on things here .NOW .just keep his hands untied so he can finish..He is the one that is here daily and see's what is most important and what is needed first and has also provided Anasazi talk with updates.So no reason to post here for attention any longer...we have come a long way and appreciate his working with me and other residents
This website will continue to keep residents updated on projects and progress, notices and all things that are shared to the community. We will also continue to provide..Events page, Restaurant info,Rentals here at Anasazi...etc etc Along with Tee Times and Movies Listings.
So I say thank you for all your input and ear all these years.
I Have from day 1 only wanted to see the place I plan on calling home forever back to the luster that brought me to buy here in September of 2004..Yes 10 years I have resided here and Think I was qualified to report on the misgivings here for that period of time.
To all you residents that have gotten involved, I thank you for joining in to keep our home the place we want to call home.I also had the chance to meet many many new residents that became friends. That made the journey smoother along the way............Appreciated
