If any of you looked out your window here at Anasazi about 2 pm this afternoon, You would have thought it was  10 pm in the evening !!   Within minutes of the darkness we got yet another severe downpour here with much flooding in the area..As you can see we had lakefront property here at Lake Anasazi..lol..

But our crew was here working to fix any problems with flooding, as many balconies were poured on with the heavy winds that came with this extra heavy rainfall AND THE 70 DEGREE TEMPS !!!

PHOENIX (AP) -- Intense storms swept through the Southwest on Saturday, snapping trees and shrouding metropolitan Phoenix in cascading showers while also bringing flooding to parts of Nevada.

The skies above downtown Phoenix were completely gray in the afternoon as strong winds, thunder and rain hit the region. The outside visibility of buildings was almost entirely obscured by rain and clouds.

The storm forced authorities to close a section of Interstate 17 in Phoenix, with no estimated time for when the freeway would re-open. Flight departures and landings were halted at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport for about an hour. Airport spokeswoman Julie Rodriguez said more than 30 flights scheduled to land in Phoenix were diverted to other airports
