I received anonymous comment yesterday asking if this website was softening because a neighbor and friend is on board.and that some of the present board members that i had spoken of or ridiculed in years earlier, Saying that we are showing support now for those same people.
It was an honest question and as always we reply frank and honest here and comment was appreciated as it shows readers and residents are paying attention to our community more and more every day.
Let me start by saying that We as previously stated last week, that this blog was designed to be an interactive website for residents, writing the positive and negative things addressed here, It was also designed to be a place to check for eateries, shows events all in the Anasazi Area
So yes we are hitting some positive notes here and it is a result of some new board members and a couple of the old members getting on board and realizing you all have been woken from the coma the Janet and Izzy years put you in..
First off as far as my neighbor Paul..he does not need my help, his record here in a short time speaks for it self. And to be honest we have had some lively chats and do not see eye to eye on all ideas here, But respect each other opinion and can agree to disagree. Thats why I call him friend, But he is open to discuss all issues with any resident and that is something overdue here.
Also Faye was mentioned in an email and here is my take.After seeing that things changed much after last election I believe Faye also might have had her hands tied from time by past board presidents..Not saying I have not disagreed with her also on many issues over the years, But with the Push of the 2 new board members Paul and Bob, she has been freed to actually do some things she may have wanted to do for some time.
She is now head of Landscaping and tree trimming, This is a IMPORTANT issue here and this will show us if she is on board to do the things proposed. She is also a longtime resident and should be given the chance to prove she can do the job with this new smarter board. The grounds and trees in the next few months will be her own report card..If she passes she may be voted in as her term expires this year..or she may vote herself out if these jobs are not completed.
.Actually hoping she aces it..We All Win !!
Just 1 person left that must be removed this year and the song here at Anasazi may be a merry one
So in closing this website is popular and thats because unlike the Discussion Board, Janet started to attempt to silence this website,That only gave box replies..We tell it like it is and most appreciate the honesty. We are not influenced by friends or Foes ...lol ....
We just want our community to remain a community.
Not like the years of past were it was used for profit by Board members
