Dog Owners Beware

Good morning! I wanted to let people know to be on the look out for chocolate being dropped by the cactus garden.

When walking our dogs this morning my husband and I saw A LOT of brownies dropped (scattered around, homemade, not like someone just dropped them accidentally).

Chocolate is very dangerous for a lot of dogs and animals in general. I'm not sure if this was a malicious act (I'd like to think ignorance over that).

I picked up a lot of it but animal owners should be aware so no one gets a sick pet!

Feel free to post on the blog as well

Continued Conversation From Anasazi Talk on Face book

  • Maryellen Crall  >>  Jaclyn   where in the cactus garden did you find the brownies, cause I  it is. If it is the person I
  • think I know whohe person I think it is, they have been told umpteen times not
  • to toss bread etc off their balcony.

  •    Jaclyn Campbell>>>       Right in the front along the main walk path. I warned another pet owner walking by as I was grabbing a bag to pick it up. it was big chunks... I was really shocked.
  •  I see people leave out bread for birds but chocolate baked goods are not appropriate for any type of animal ( unless it's for your own and you know their reaction to such treats).

Heating or Air Conditioning Troubles ?

On Friday I went to use my heat..Yes Heat and found my unit was not working, I called Sharon in office and asked her for a referral. She did a great job in giving me a company called Comfort Experts.

The 2 owners Ryan and Ryan were at my 7am appt this morning at 7 sharp and talk about a couple of nice guys,After inspecting unit it turned out to be a capacitor and the charge including service call was about a $100, I had another guy look this weekend and though he might have to replace the unit, It was bought 8 years ago. I dismissed him and am glad I called Ryan...Mike Build 5

    CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS IN DUMPSTERS

Many homeowners have been updating and remodeling their units.

This is good to see, however, some contractors have disposed of their construction
materials and debris in the Anasazi dumpsters.

These dumpsters are for the use of the Anasazi residents only to dispose of their household trash.  If you have a contractor or vendor doing work on your condo, remind them they must haul all of their materials and debris off of the property, per the Anasazi Rules and Regulations.

    Sad Dads Club Info

I have had many residents inquire about what the MISS Foundation or Sad Dads Club..This is a organization very close to my heart and have been affiliated with since 2002

Many have asked what is the 'Sad Dad's Club'
    The Sad Dads Club Story
This is a group of Dads who also unfortunately have lost a child. This is a great dads group, in a different setting than that of the past.
This is just a Group of Dads who has found a different way to talk, console, and laugh. Yes laugh in a lighter arena, and yet support each other fully. And I wanted people to be clear on this project.
I don't have to tell you about the pain we have all experienced in the loss of our children, yet one thing that has drawn me to the MISS Foundation is the support, the honesty, the candor and the positive thinking. We all want our children back. That is our only wish.
Yet, this 'club' was organized after NBC12 Phoenix did a report on a group of Dads who have experienced the loss of their child. It aired for Father’s Day 2013 and was dubbed the Sad Dads Club by NBC Reporter Kevin Kennedy, It was hosted by Barry Kluger, along with Michael Sansone and Barry Adkins at Morton's in Scottsdale (see tv interview below)
We were Struck by the fact that amidst the tears. Very hard tears. There were light moments as well.
Somehow, we find glimpses, however short, of what we have lost but what we may have.
Michael Sansone became a MISS Mentor in 2006 and a MISS Facilitator in 2012
In May 2013 Michael Sansone founded the Sad Dads Club Social Group,.
In February 2014, joined by Theo Soumilas. The Sad Dads Held its 1st social event fundraiser.
In September 2014 the Social Group also Became a monthly Support Group with the MISS Foundation... .
Michael Sansone & Theo Soumilas will facilitate this group.
The Group will meet on the 4th Thursday of Every Month @ 6:30pm
    Location
    The MISS Foundation Office
    77 E Thomas Rd #221
    Phoenix, AZ 85012.
Mr Michael Sansone is a Anasazi Resident and has been involved with the MISS Foundation since 2002
