Board Meeting Results

Well From reports there were only about 12 people at last meeting.

The tree trimming was approved

The Repaving of asphalt was approved

The Cameras in Bike Rooms Was Not Approved, at a cost of $10,000

This was a very large expenditure and could easily be solved if bike owners just added a lock to bikes in room, This would be a a lot cheaper

The Poll for Board Meeting Day will be active till Sept 10th

Board Meeting Day Change ?

This is a discussion that has come about as of late, Many people always saying that no one comes
to Board meetings and last meeting had 18 people, I think a solution should at least be discussed. I will not be able to attend tonight's Board meeting due to work constraints.

This is the story of many here as in the last 5 years the medium age here at Anasazi has dropped dramatically and many full time residents here are still working. with a younger crowd now living here

I think the discussion should go to the residents about Saturday Afternoon Board Meetings, I also realize this will involve having 2 people from AAM present but hey they do work for us and am sure they would accommodate if needed

Now some of you may say you golf on Saturday, but do believe that work is more important than golf ?? lol

Many have also expressed this possibility...look to your thoughts and comments on this issue

I Have put up a poll and look to your thoughts, ideas and votes

Water On Patio's

Good morning, with the heavy downpours this last week, And speaking with Wayne and Crew, It is suggested that all residents check the drain holes on your patios, Many patios had excess water on them and some seeping into units here. So take a few minutes and use a hangar to make
sure water can exit from your patios.

Also we had 4 pumps here removing water as some of the back parking lot was coming up the doors of some autos here. This last storm was called the 1/1000 years storm with the record amount of rain we have received this last 3 days. The golf course still has rivers running through it  and it was flooded heavy also

Wayne and crew were out this morning working hard again unclogging drains in the complex and batting down the hatches for another day of rain in the forecast

On The Ball....Thank You

Yesterdays Storm

A Weather Underground observation site near Route 51 and Bell Road in north Phoenix
Recorded 1 inch of rain in 14 minutes during the early-afternoon torrent. This was the second storm, with one earlier also dumping record amounts of rain, Street flooding quickly ensued across much of the city's north side. The Carefree Ranch area of far northern Scottsdale measured 2.36 inches of rain in one hour.

A "BIG Thank you to Wayne and the Crew here, they were kept on there toes all day, and handled all problems here at Anasazi, Including working and getting around during this windy rainy storm. This was one of the worst rainstorms I have seen in last 10 years. With much of the surrounding areas still looking like a hurricane. Anasazi was cleaned and looking fresh on my way in from work this evening

Thanks Again ....The Extra Effort is very appreciated

Have to Say..The 72 Degree evening last night was a bonus for us here in August

Heavy Rain Here This Morning Here At Anasazi

We had quite a down pour this morning with the Monsoon that hit us here at Anasazi, sending crews here scrambling, we had flooding in building 8 and building 5 had a lower floor unit with water on floors as of this morning at 10am. We had about 2 inches pour on Anasazi in about 30 minutes this morning

Wayne and crew are on top of things here this morning, and doing a Great Job. With some units fire alarms also going off in building 5, here is news post from this morning and some pictures around our area

HERE ARE SOME STORM PICS FROM AROUND OUR AREA THIS MORNING

PHOENIX -- Hard rain came down throughout the Valley and surrounding areas Tuesday morning, soaking several areas that are still reeling from last week's flooding.
3TV Meteorologist April Warnecke said showers would continue off and on throughout the day. An inch had fallen since 5:30 a.m., and it was still coming down more than an hour later, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a Flood Watch and Advisory. The NWS later upgraded that to a Flash Flood Warning that originally was to expire at 9 a.m., but extended until 11 a.m. The watch continues until noon.

Update another storm dumped 2 more inches at 11am today after the morning storm

TEMPERATURE AT 1:30 PM TODAY  72 DEGREES
